| About Us Huntington Dance Theatre functions as a non-profit performing dance company and school in the Tri-State area. We take very seriously the teaching of technique and the experience of performance. HDT welcomes students of all levels and abilities and provides an inclusive environment for classes and performance. Within the parameters of the HDT mission and vision, time and experience have proven many things. Most importantly, that we cannot do it all, but what we choose to do, we should do well; and we believe we have done just that. By focusing upon classical ballet technique and the strength it adds to other dance disciplines, we have developed some very advanced and accomplished dancers. More importantly, we have helped grow a lifetime love of dance, fostering the creative spirit. It is the mission of HDT to incorporate a spirit of dance and inclusion, and a vision of a continuing circle of dancers that begins with our youngest creative movement students and continues in a never-ending ring wherein those students become the advanced performers of tomorrow. |
